Fraud Warning
URGENT ALERT
Please be aware of Fraudulent emails impersonating Futaba Corporation and Futaba Group companies
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE
We have detected fraudulent emails circulating globally that impersonate Futaba Corporation and our group companies (collectively referred to as “Futaba Group”). Recently, some of our business partners have been targeted by these scams.
The fraudulent emails typically contain notifications about changes to bank account details and requests for payments to be transferred to different accounts. In some cases, the sender’s email addresses and signatures are carefully designed to appear legitimate, mimicking those of Futaba Group employees.
Please be informed that Futaba Group NEVER requests to change bank information via email. All changes to payment details follow strict verification protocols involving multiple communication channels.
SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS:
- DO NOT open any attachments from suspicious emails claiming to be from Futaba Group
- DO NOT click on any links contained in suspicious emails
- DO NOT reply to any email about notification of bank account changing. Please confirm by other ways (e.g. Calling, Fax)
- CONTACT your Futaba Group representative using previously established contact methods, if you receive payment-related communications that seem unusual
- DELETE all suspicious emails
If you received suspicious emails, calling or have questions regarding the legitimacy of any Futaba Group correspondence, please contact us.
We appreciate your vigilance and helping protect our business relationship.
