We at Futaba believe that servos are a very integral part of your flight control systems and it seems a shame to put a basic hobby servo on a sophisticated and, quite frankly, expensive UAV platform when there are tested industrial servo motors available.
Futaba has been in the RC industry for over 57 years. Throughout those years they have continued to innovate and push the standards of quality and reliability to greater heights. It wasn’t until a few years ago that Futaba realized that there was a growing industrial and commercial UAV industry. The engineering team in Japan realized that if they were to develop an industrial servo motor line that incorporated a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) analysis, they would be able to both build more robust servos, as well as, provide a calculated flight hour replacement time.
